What are the new and less painful ways to get waxed for your wedding functions?
Getting married or not… we all have been there! The pain of waxing is unbearable and inescapable for every girl. Some girls opt for shaving which is fine for everyday maintenance but when it’s your wedding you have to ditch the razor and go for waxing instead. It helps in removing tan as well giving a smoother finish to the skin. We usually go for traditional hot wax that can lead to irritated skin. But there are all-natural alternatives that help to get rid of hair with the help skin-soothing ingredients like aloe and natural oils that also help to calm your skin, post-wax.
So, here are some less painful ways to get waxed.
In sugaring, a bend of melted sugar, lemon as well as hot water is used in the shape of a ball. This blended ball is rubbed on the skin to remove hair from the skin. It will give you same sensation like the wax but unlike it, this doesn’t stick to skin. Also, that blend doesn’t need to be piping hot to work. If you want to get it done then you have a full growth, so that it works effectively.
This is made with aloe vera and beeswax, or aloe with glycerine. This is suggested for dry or easily irritated skin. It is done as same as traditional wax but it doesn’t cause any pain and irritation. The advantages of getting it done are that it is anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, offers hydration and exfoliating the skin to remove dead skin cells. Also, it keeps the hair shafts closed, that slows down the growth of hair.
The star ingredient of chocolate wax is the cocoa bean, that is used in its melted form mixed with glycerine, sunflower oil, almond oil and minerals. This blend is applied on the skin at a comfortable temperature and after it hardens on the skin, it’s removed with minimal force. Its nourishing ingredients doesn’t cause any redness or inflammation post-wax, and its essentials oils offer smooth sheen to the skin. It also helps to get rid of tan.
This wax has strawberry extract blended with natural oils like almond or jojoba and glycerine. Just like chocolate wax, this strawberry wax blend doesn’t have to be heated to higher temps, and it spreads easily for smoother. Also, it has skin-friendly vitamins and antioxidants that revitalizes the skin and its vitamin C also helps to lighten the uneven skin tone.
