Deciding on the type of venue is a big dilemma! Because comfort calls for a banquet and on the other hand luxury demands an open space. So, here is the solution- You can experiment with the type of venue in winters. If confused, go for a combination of an open and closed space. That way, if they are feeling cold or too sunny then they can go indoors for their comfort.

Try to keep the venue warm

If you are thinking of getting married in an open setting then you have to take some insightful measures to make the venue cosier. You can use a patio or aforementioned heaters to do so. Plus, it is essential to have a backup plan as the weather can be unpredictable and unpleasant.

Pro tip: Choose outdoor spaces for daytime events to keep the evening events indoors. In case there is a reception event happening outdoors use heaters especially near the seating area for guests convenience and also on the stage for the main couple to feel comfortable while they stand there for a long period of time.

Make your guests feel comfortable

You can also create a comfortable ambience by live food counters as hot food straight from the counter or by having a 24/7 tea coffee counter for the guests’ convenience – something hot to go for them at all times. Also, have more warm hot snacks as pass-around that guests can nibble on. If you have planned a destination wedding then have a heater facility for the guests’ room that will allow them to stay warm. Plus, get the extra essentials like extra blankets, water kettles and other such similar facilities in their hotel rooms.

Light up your venue

For a dreamy winter wedding you need to avoid a dark and gloomy venue. It is advised to light it up in the best way to have an unforgettable winter wedding. You can go creative and use a mixture of candlesticks, pillar candles, chandeliers, dreamy fairy lights, and Edison bulbs to make it look like whimsical setting. This will not only create a warm ambiance but it will also add a cosy glow to the venue.

Go for a complete winter food menu

You have to keep in mind that a winter wedding demands extra attention when it comes to the food and menu. You can also add savoury food like Pakodas, Cheese Balls, Pizza, Pasta to spice up the evening.
