We know times are getting back to normal after COVID and so is the wedding with a large number of guest lists! During the pandemic, the couples were opting for intimate weddings where only 50 guests were invited. Planning such a wedding was really easy as it involved fewer expenses and almost no stress. As now people are again getting inclined towards bigger weddings with large gatherings which may take a lot of efforts to plan such a wedding!

Having a big wedding would certainly mean having more than 200 guests. But you don’t need to worry! Here we are to give you some tips that will help you do everything within control as well as budget.

Book a venue that can accommodate your large gathering

This may sound like a no-brainer… but we wanted to emphasise the importance of visiting the venue multiple times before booking. Your venue holds the most important as it can make or break the vibe of the celebration. You should at least visit it two times… first to see how the actual venue looks like and for the second time you should book an appointment to see how a live function looks like. This will give you an idea of how an actual function looks like with all the décor and furniture. Also, give special attention to the dining area, bar, dance floor and parking space to see if all your guests can fit properly.

Try to indulge with everyone in the celebration

All those guests you have invited to the wedding have come to celebrate the most special day of your life. Therefore, it may get a bit challenging to interact and meet everyone. The whole wedding celebration may go on for 5 to 6 hours which may get tough for you to spend time with each guest. We would suggest you spend maximum time with each of them and while they come for pictures with you, you can mingle with them. You can also arrange special dining for the people who are coming from other cities where you can interact with them freely.

Think about travels

Try to book a venue where people can reach easily. We would suggest you book some resort for a destination or residential wedding where people won’t need to travel from one place to another for multiple functions. Also, if you are planning to do such a thing, then offer them maps that are extra-detailed. Try to make their travel easy. Plus, we have already mentioned before but we want you to emphasise more on the parking area.

We hope this helps!
