We totally agree with the fact that wedding planning is a chaotic thing to do and there are fair chances that some things that go beyond your control. Some situations just pop up unexpectedly that can affect your celebration in a bad way. You can’t help if some of your vendor ditches you at your D-Day! But there are some common wedding planning mistakes that should be avoided on your behalf to make your event go smoothly.

Going out of your Wedding Budget

It is always advised to stick to your budget while making all the arrangements of your wedding. Money should be spent with well planning with as you just can’t blow off your wedding budget on unnecessary things. There are chances, that you get all excited and start doing your bookings without having a budget in mind and in the end regretting your decisions. So, be wise and keep track of all the expenditures so that you can relax at the most special day of your life. 


Involving other people

It’s your wedding, you know it really well what kind of arrangements are needed to be done. Plus, only rely upon your closest family or friends, who are well aware of your likes and dislikes as they will help you to make all the planning decisions wisely. Not only this, but they will also stand by you if anything does not go as planned.


Sending your Save-the-Dates Too Soon

You may get tempted by the thought of announcing your wedding date but don’t you’re your save-the-date before finalizing the guest list. 


Being late in making certain decisions

There is a certain timeline that you need to follow while making all the bookings and purchases. Your venue, caterer, photographer, makeup artist and above all your wedding attire, all these purchases and bookings should be sorted at least 3 months before the D-Day! Block your vendors as soon as your date gets finalised as there are chances of them being unavailable at your dates!


Not giving priority to important tasks

This is a very common mistake done while planning the wedding. You always have to keep in mind that in all that wedding planning madness, you have to be calm and be good to all those who are helping you plan your big day! There will be instances when things will go south, but all that is a part and parcel of weddings. So, be calm to handle all things with a sound mind.
