How to manage your sleeping routine before the wedding?

The whole process of planning a wedding is a bit of scary that can lead to sleeplessness nights. But being the bride you just can’t afford to have disbalance in your sleeping routines. You really need to know how to manage your time, so that you can have sound sleep. Everyone goes through the struggle of not able to sleep properly during that wedding planning madness. As the date comes closer, the level of anxiety increases with it. So, here are some tips that will help you to get your precious beauty sleep.


Have a proper exercise and sleep routine

You must exercise properly to maintain yourself for your D-day and in the same way you have to do it for a good sleep. It has been observed that exercise acts as an amazing stress reducer which further helps in having a good sleep. You can go for simple exercises such as running, Zumba or even dance classes that will help you get rid of nervous energy. Plus, you will get tired that will help you sleep properly. Above all, you need to take out set aside at 20 minutes before bed to wind down that will relax you a bit.


 

Don’t stay too much in bright lights

Have you ever felt strain in your eyes because of too much use of the phone? No doubt, your phone must become your wedding planning buddy but the light emissions from your device is a bit harmful to your brain. Therefore, it is suggested to adjust its display settings to ‘night shift’ as it reduces the blue light while and emitting a warmer one. It is also recommended to switch off or dim the lights around you as it will help you to relax as well as prepare for the sleep.


Meditate

Your mind must be working round the clock while wedding planning, therefore you need to calm it down as a restless mind will never let you sleep. You can sit comfortably, with your spine lengthened as well as shoulders relaxed and then inhaling and exhaling visualizing your wedding day. Trust us, meditation will help you calm down and go through this wedding madness smoothly.


Work Management

 You and your groom-to-be must be juggling between work and wedding planning which must be really stressful. All this work and stress can put you at risk for high cortisol levels which further leads to sleeplessness and mood swings. So, plan everything properly to stay away from all the stress.


 

Balance your Circadian Rhythm

As we have mentioned before about the high cortisol, which is the main stress hormone, that further prevents sleep. You really need to keep it hormones in check, and for it, you need to work on balancing your circadian rhythm (commonly known as the internal clock), For this, you have to go to sleep and wake up at the same time each day to maintain its stability.
